I’d be terrified as hell if I were sitting in the co-pilot seat next to this guy. It appears as if he panic 50 feet before touchdown. Thank God they landed safely.
My first ride on the Md-80 was on Alitalia from Rome to Brindisi…..what an awesome experience.
It seems like the atmospheric conditions caused him to make control inputs the way he did – yeah it looked funny (the yokes on classic Boeings, MD-80s have a lot of play in them…)
In my own humble opinion, it’s a lot tougher to land an Md-80 when compared to a 737 or an A320, so kudos to the man who brought the PAX to their destination safely.
Kingis3000..i guess you do not know much about piloting and mostly landing in this rainy and windy condition demands a lot on the cockpit crew. I think the Captain did an excellent job…and he seemed to have fun as well…, the MD 80 is a sensitive plane to handle in windy conditions..nice work captain!!

co pilot: where the fuck the runway huh?…ohhh!!! right there…right there i could see it frm here
captain: ok…i got it (then he turns it like his 20yrs old pontiac…)
This is one of the most difficult landing procedure in italy…loc 33 at reggio calabria.
Pilots to land here needs a special graduation…this captain has skill.

Lol. I think he rather drive a rallycar but is to heavy-handed.
I like the touchdown he grabs the wheel like controlling a wild horse. lol

@kingis3000
its captain, and they can fly,you cant, not everything is perfectly smooth, specially flying an airplane, need to do things fast sometimes
